Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1-15 ounce can black beans, drained (organic is bonus)
1 tablespoon dehydrated, minced onion
2 teaspoon chopped garlic (fresh or jar)
1 tablespoon Red Velvet Gourmet Spice Rub or ½ tablespoon Chili powder
1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
Dash of hot sauce (optional)
¼ cup water
8 warm corn tortillas
Directions
Add ground turkey, onion and garlic to a heated non-stick skillet and cook until done, chopping to separate meat into pieces. Drain oil from meat. Add drained black beans, chili powder, tomato sauce, optional hot sauce and water. Mix well and bring to a gentle boil. Turn down heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed, stirring frequently.
Serve in warmed tortillas (warmed in skillet or microwave tortilla warmer) with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, avocados, salsa, onion, tomatoes, and cilantro.
